Instructions
Gather all ingredients and prepare your workspace.
Pound chicken breasts to about ½ inch thick between plastic wrap.
Season chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
Set up dredging station: flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, breadcrumbs in a third.
Dredge chicken in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Fry chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer cooked cutlets to paper towels to drain excess oil.
Toast bread slices lightly.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
Assemble the sandwich: lettuce, chicken cutlet, sliced tomato, and top with another slice of bread.
Cut sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
Notes
