  • 1 tsp Salt Use kosher or sea salt for better texture.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Sage
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste for heat.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Helps to bind the ingredients.

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients on a clean work surface and prepare your utensils.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the ground turkey and break it up gently.
  • Sprinkle the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried sage, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes over the ground turkey.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the mixture.
  • Gently mix the ingredients together without overworking the mixture.
  • Cook a small amount of the mixture in a skillet to taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Form the sausage mixture into patties or links.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage for about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Transfer the cooked sausage to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Serve hot, either on its own or as part of a larger meal.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
