Instructions
Rinse the long-grain white rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain well.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it foams slightly.
Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
Add the rinsed rice to the pot and stir gently to combine.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, stirring well to incorporate.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes without lifting the lid.
After cooking, turn off the heat and let sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
Fluff the rice gently with a fork and stir in the freshly chopped parsley.
Serve warm alongside your favorite main dishes.
