  • 2 cups Long-Grain White Rice Rinsed under cold water
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth Low-sodium preferred

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley Freshly chopped, added at the end

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the long-grain white rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain well.
  • In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it foams slightly.
  • Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Add the rinsed rice to the pot and stir gently to combine.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, stirring well to incorporate.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes without lifting the lid.
  • After cooking, turn off the heat and let sit covered for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Fluff the rice gently with a fork and stir in the freshly chopped parsley.
  • Serve warm alongside your favorite main dishes.

Notes

This rice pairs well with grilled chicken, fish, or vegetarian dishes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to four days.
