Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add onion and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese until melted and combined.
Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut dough into strips about 4 inches wide.
Place a spoonful of the cheesesteak mixture onto the center of each dough strip. Fold sides over and pinch to seal.
Place filled breadsticks seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush egg wash over the tops of the breadsticks.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven.
