Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1 pound Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade

Filling

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Lean, cooked until browned
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Diced, any color
  • 1 cup Onion Finely chopped
  • 8 ounces Provolone Cheese Shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing
  • 1 large Egg Beaten with a splash of water for egg wash

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add onion and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  • Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart. Cook until browned, about 8-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese until melted and combined.
  • Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Cut dough into strips about 4 inches wide.
  • Place a spoonful of the cheesesteak mixture onto the center of each dough strip. Fold sides over and pinch to seal.
  • Place filled breadsticks seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush egg wash over the tops of the breadsticks.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven.
