  • 1 loaf Crusty Bread Loaf (Sourdough or French) Aim for a loaf that weighs around 1 pound.
  • 4-6 cloves Garlic Minced finely.
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted.
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Softened.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley Roughly chopped.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked, adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Make diagonal cuts across the top of the loaf, about 1-inch apart, without slicing all the way through.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, cream cheese, parsley, and garlic-butter mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fill each cut in the bread with the cheese mixture, packing it in generously.
  • Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is golden and crispy.
  • Let the bread cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
