  • 1 cup Long-Grain Rice Uncooked, rinsed under cold water.
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter For the garlic butter sauce.
  • 4 cloves Garlic Finely minced.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth For cooking the rice.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 pinch Pepper Freshly cracked black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the long-grain rice under cold water in a fine-mesh sieve. Allow it to drain.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the drained rice to the saucepan, stirring to coat it in the garlic butter. Toast the rice for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, stir in salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-18 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and let sit covered for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

This dish can be customized with vegetables, proteins, or different herbs for added flavor.
