Ingredients
  

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Use lean ground beef to minimize grease.
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded for best melting.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Crust Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Pie Crust Pre-made or homemade.
  • 1 large Egg Beaten with a splash of water for egg wash.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Roll out the pie crusts to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into circles, approximately 4-5 inches in diameter.
  • Place a heaping tablespoon of filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold and seal the edges.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize fillings with your favorite burger toppings like pickles or jalapeños.
