  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Sauté briefly with onion and celery.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Mix with thyme and sage.

  • 2 large eggs Beaten lightly before adding.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, place the stale bread cubes.
  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onion and celery for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Combine the sautéed mixture with the bread cubes and drizzle in vegetable broth, mixing until moist.
  • Add fresh herbs, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  • Incorporate the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
  • Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway through.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These stuffing balls can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
