Ingredients
  

Chicken Breast

  • 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Fresh and of good quality for best results.

Honey

  • 1/4 cup Honey High-quality, pure honey for best taste.

Black Pepper

  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper Provides a spicy kick.

Pimento Cheese

  • 1 cup Creamy Pimento Cheese Mix of sharp cheddar, cream cheese, and pimentos.

Sandwich Bread

  • 4 slices Sandwich Bread Brioche or whole grain recommended.

Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil Prevents sticking and adds richness.

Salt

  • 1 pinch Salt Essential for seasoning.

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Prepare the honey pepper glaze by mixing honey and additional black pepper to taste.
  • Slice the rested chicken and spread pimento cheese on one side of each slice of bread. Drizzle the honey pepper glaze over the chicken.
  • Layer the glazed chicken on the pimento cheese-covered bread, cover with another slice of bread, and press down gently. Optionally, toast the sandwich in the skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the sandwich from the skillet, let it cool slightly, then slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

Consider adding crispy fried onions or sautéed vegetables for extra flavor and texture. Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of black pepper.
