  • 2 cups Leftover Turkey Cooked and shredded turkey.
  • 8-10 pieces Slider Buns Soft and slightly sweet buns.
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or mozzarella works well.
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise Consider flavored mayonnaise for extra kick.
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Dijon or whole grain mustard recommended.
  • 1 cup Fresh Vegetables Assorted toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  • to taste Seasonings Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For cooking and toasting the buns.

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded leftover turkey and season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and arrange the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns.
  • Layer the seasoned turkey evenly across the bottom buns.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the turkey.
  • Top with fresh vegetables like lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
  • Place the top halves of the slider buns back on the assembled sliders.
  • Brush the tops of the slider buns lightly with olive oil.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual portions.
