Instructions
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Brown for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
Drain excess fat from the skillet. Add finely chopped onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
Add diced green bell pepper and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle cheese over the mixture and cover to melt.
Prepare hamburger buns, toasting if desired. Scoop the filling onto the bottom half of each bun.
Top with the other half of the buns and serve warm.
