Cucumbers

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar Provides the tangy base for the dressing.
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Essential for balancing sweet and sour.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Adds a nutty aroma and rich flavor.
  • pinch Chili Flakes For a spicy kick, adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the cucumbers thoroughly under cold water.
  • Slice the cucumbers thinly, about 1/8 inch thick, and place them in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Add a pinch of chili flakes to the dressing and whisk to incorporate.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss gently to coat.
  • Add chopped green onions and toss again.
  • Let the salad sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb flavors.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  • Serve chilled or at room temperature.
