  • 1 cup Flour All-purpose flour for coating.
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten.
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs For extra crunch.
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise For the sauce.
  • 0.33 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Adds sweetness and spice.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For flavor enhancement.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed Lettuce Leaves Optional for serving.

Instructions

  • Begin by preparing the chicken. Cut 500 grams of chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a medium bowl, beat 2 large eggs. In another bowl, place 1 cup of all-purpose flour. In a third bowl, add 1 cup of breadcrumbs.
  • Season the flour with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Dip each chicken piece into the flour, coating it thoroughly. Shake off any excess flour before transferring it to the bowl with the beaten eggs.
  • Coat the floured chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then transfer to the bowl with breadcrumbs.
  • Press the chicken into the breadcrumbs to ensure a good coating. Set aside the breaded chicken on a plate.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to cover the bottom. Wait until the oil is hot before adding the chicken pieces.
  • Carefully add the breaded chicken to the skillet in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • In a separate bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, ⅓ cup of sweet chili sauce, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Mix well until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the hot chicken and toss gently until all pieces are well coated.
  • Optionally, lay out fresh lettuce leaves on a serving platter and arrange the sauced chicken on top.
  • Your Simple Bang Bang Chicken Recipe is now ready to be enjoyed!
