  • 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce For the teriyaki sauce base.

  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger Grated.
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil For added richness.
  • 2 stalks Green onions Chopped for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • 1. Marinate the chicken by combining soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. Whisk together and add chicken pieces, ensuring they are coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  • 3. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet, reserving the marinade. Cook for 5-7 minutes without stirring.
  • 4. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 5 minutes until cooked through.
  • 5. Pour the reserved marinade into a saucepan and simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken.
  • 6. Pour the thickened sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
  • 7. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • 8. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
