Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  • Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mashed bananas, mixing well.
  • Incorporate melted unsalted butter into the banana-sugar mixture.
  • Crack one large egg into the mixture and whisk until combined.
  • Sift together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped nuts evenly into the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
