  • Sprinkle in the ranch dressing mix and fold it into the cottage cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Add the sour cream and gently fold it into the mixture until well combined.
  • Chop the fresh chives and mix them in thoroughly.
  • Add the garlic powder and stir well to incorporate.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  • Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  • After chilling, give the dip another quick stir and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with additional chives or paprika if desired.
