  • In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk until well combined.
  • Add the milk to the egg mixture and whisk together until smooth.
  • Incorporate the sugar and cinnamon into the mixture and whisk until fully combined.
  • Add the vanilla flavoring to the custard mixture and stir gently to combine.
  • Slice the bread into 1-inch wide strips for even soaking and cooking.
  • Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the butter to melt.
  • Dip each bread strip into the custard mixture, ensuring both sides are coated without soaking too long.
  • Place the coated bread strips onto the hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the cooked sticks to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess butter.
