1teaspoonSalt
0.5teaspoonBlack Pepper
Gravy Ingredients
2cupsBeef Broth
2tablespoonsCornstarch
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Sauté the finely chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until translucent, about 5 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or lined loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
In a saucepan, combine beef broth and cornstarch over medium heat, whisking until thickened. Adjust seasoning as desired.
Bake the meatloaf for approximately 1 hour or until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
Pour half of the prepared gravy over the meatloaf about 15 minutes before it's done baking.
Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes after removing it from the oven.
Slice the meatloaf and serve topped with the remaining gravy.
Notes
For variations, consider adding cheese, vegetables, or spices to the meat mixture.
