Ingredients
  

Pasta

  • 3 cups Pasta (penne or rotini) Cook until al dente.

Sauce

  • 2-3 cups Marinara Sauce Store-bought or homemade.

Cheese

  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Oils

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Drizzle over pasta before baking.

Vegetables

  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Peppers, Onions, or Mushrooms Choose based on preference.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil

Protein

  • 1 cup Cooked Chicken, Turkey, or Beef Well-seasoned.

Cheese

  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Sprinkle on top before baking.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with marinara sauce. Stir well to coat.
  • Add olive oil to the pasta mixture and mix well.
  • Incorporate chopped vegetables and cooked protein into the pasta mixture.
  • Season with oregano and basil, then stir to combine.
  • Spread half of the pasta mixture in a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Add the remaining pasta mixture on top, then sprinkle with remaining cheese and Parmesan.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Notes

Customize with different vegetables or proteins as desired. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
