Instructions
Rinse the rice under cold running water for about 2-3 minutes to remove excess starch.
Transfer the rinsed rice to the Instant Pot. Add water, salt, and oil or ghee. Stir gently to combine.
Close the lid and set the pressure valve to sealing. Select 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' and set the timer for 6 minutes on high pressure.
After cooking, allow for a natural pressure release for 10 minutes before carefully releasing any remaining pressure.
Open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
