Instructions
 

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the olive oil. Allow it to warm up for about a minute.
  • Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  • Incorporate the minced garlic, stirring continuously for 30 seconds.
  • Add the diced bell peppers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour in the canned tomatoes and stir to combine.
  • Add the vegetable broth, ensuring it covers the mixture.
  • Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the spaghetti directly into the pot.
  • Reduce heat to a simmer and cover the pot. Cook for about 10-12 minutes.
  • Once cooked, remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
