Instructions
Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the olive oil. Allow it to warm up for about a minute.
Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until translucent.
Incorporate the minced garlic, stirring continuously for 30 seconds.
Add the diced bell peppers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and stir to combine.
Add the vegetable broth, ensuring it covers the mixture.
Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the spaghetti directly into the pot.
Reduce heat to a simmer and cover the pot. Cook for about 10-12 minutes.
Once cooked, remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes.
Adjust seasoning as needed before serving.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
