  • 4-5 medium Peaches Fresh or canned, sliced or drained.

Baking Ingredients

  • 15.25 ounces Cake Mix Yellow or white cake mix.
  • 0.5 cup Butter Unsalted, melted.
  • 0.5 cup Brown Sugar Packed.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground.
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a 9x13 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  • If using fresh peaches, wash, peel, and slice them. If using canned peaches, drain and reserve some syrup.
  • Combine peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl, let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Melt the butter and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Pour the dry cake mix over the peaches in the baking dish without mixing.
  • Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
  • Pour water over the entire dish without mixing.
  • Sprinkle extra brown sugar and cinnamon on top if desired.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
