Instructions
 

  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey or chicken until no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Transfer the cooked meat to the slow cooker. Add cream cheese, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over the mixture and pour in salsa and black beans. Stir until well combined.
  • Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring halfway through.
  • Once bubbly and hot, turn off the slow cooker and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve with tortilla chips or veggies.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños. For a vegetarian option, substitute meat with chopped bell peppers or mushrooms.
