Instructions
Grease the bottom and sides of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
In a medium bowl, combine caramel bits and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Pour the caramel mixture into the bottom of the greased slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
Evenly distribute pecan halves over the caramel layer.
Measure out the chocolate chips and sprinkle them generously over the pecans.
Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it on low for 2 to 3 hours.
After about 2 hours, gently stir the mixture to combine the melted chocolate and caramel with the pecans.
Once everything has melted and combined, let it sit for about 10 minutes to cool slightly.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape them into turtle shapes if desired.
While still warm, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each turtle.
Allow the turtles to cool completely at room temperature before enjoying.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or refrigerate for a firmer texture.
