Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the peri peri sauce, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and honey (if using). Whisk until well blended.
  • Step 3: Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring each wing is thoroughly coated. Cover with plastic wrap or transfer to a zip-top bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 4: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Step 5: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  • Step 6: Remove the wings from the marinade and shake off excess. Arrange in a single layer on the wire rack.
  • Step 7: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Step 8: For extra crispiness, switch to broil mode for the last 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 9: Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with parsley before serving.
