Instructions
Prepare your steaming setup by filling a pot with water, ensuring it reaches about one to two inches high. Place a steaming basket or rack inside the pot.
Bring the water to a boil, cover the pot with a lid, and turn the heat to high.
Once boiling, carefully arrange the eggs in the steaming basket without overcrowding.
Cover the pot and reduce the heat to medium. Steam for 6-7 minutes for soft-boiled, 8-10 minutes for medium-boiled, or 11-13 minutes for hard-boiled eggs.
Prepare a bowl of ice water while the eggs are steaming.
When done, transfer the eggs to the ice water for 5-10 minutes to cool.
