- 1 pound Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs For a crispy coating.
- 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Enhances flavor and helps coating adhere.
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder For flavor.
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder For flavor.
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste.
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste.
- 1 large Egg Beaten, to bind breadcrumbs.
Cooking Spray
- 1 spray Cooking Spray For coating the air fryer basket.
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by cutting it into uniform bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the egg lightly.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the nuggets in a single layer.
- Cook the nuggets for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove the nuggets and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
