- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise For Bang Bang sauce
- 2 tablespoons Sweet chili sauce For Bang Bang sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha For Bang Bang sauce
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Green onions, chopped For garnish
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt To taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated For flavor and garnish
Instructions
- 1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- 2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- 4. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl.
- 5. Pour the Bang Bang sauce into the skillet with garlic and stir for 1 minute.
- 6. Add heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 7. Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat. Add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
- 8. Add drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
- 9. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
- 10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
