Ingredients
Filling Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef Use lean ground beef to minimize grease.
- 1 medium Onion Finely chopped.
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded for best melting.
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
Crust Ingredients
- 2 sheets Pie Crust Pre-made or homemade.
- 1 large Egg Beaten with a splash of water for egg wash.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Roll out the pie crusts to about 1/8 inch thick and cut into circles, approximately 4-5 inches in diameter.
- Place a heaping tablespoon of filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold and seal the edges.
- Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
